Mother's Day

Mother's Day is and always has been a big deal for me. It's the role I've always wanted to play. I had a wonderful mother, who , unfortunately, died at the young age of 55 from breast cancer. She was funny, smart, kind, hardworking and loved all of us very much. I've missed her so much over the years and wonder if she would have been proud of the woman and mother I've become. I'm pretty sure she would've been.
My three children are truly a blessing. They've all grown up into wonderful adults , who I am very proud of.. Their friendship is an added bonus. I truly enjoy spending time with each and every one of them. When we get together with the entire family the laughs never stop.
Tomorrow, our daughter is getting married. What a wonderful Mother's Day gift for me. I'll be giving thanks for another wonderful human being becoming a permanent member of our family. Happy Mother's Day to me!
