It's a beautiful day, today, in Wisconsin. The sun is shining and the temps are in the low 70's. Perfect weather as far as I'm concerned. Many would say that isn't summer weather, but, I disagree. I'm lovin' it!
Our new grandaughter is 2 1/2 weeks old and doing exceptionally well. She's gained a 1.3lbs and grew 3/4 of an inch in two weeks! The doctor is amazed at how much she's growing. I'm just as amazed every time I look at that beautiful child. The whole process of pregnancy, birth and growing up is so miraculous and amazing. I am so going to enjoy her growing up..... she can grow up with the new Prince of Cambridge. :)
Last week my husband and I went on a vacation to the Mall of America with our oldest grandaughter and our son , his wife and our two grandsons. What a fun, fun time we had. Haven't laughed that hard in a long time. It's so special to be able to spend time with little kids and watch what they think is funny and how they react to everything. We spent 2 days at the Mall and most of that time was spent in the Nickelodeon Universe amusement park. We bought the kids ride armbands and they had a blast trying all the different rides the park has to offer. The temps last week were almost 100 degrees, but, inside the mall a pleasant temp in the 70's. The perfect vacation when you want to be sure the weather doesn't hamper your plans. We've done this trip two years in a row and enjoyed it as much this year as we did last year. Would love to make it an annual event.
What trips have you done recently that are " kid friendly"....? Always looking for other ideas.
